SHAREPOINTWorks eRESULT® Enterprise Search Connector for Worksite is extremely fast, ensures security, is scalable and very flexible. Index your client documents from Worksite and add related client metadata from your customer relationship system to enhance the find-ability of your documents. Our connector works with all Worksite SharePoint webparts and 3rd party integrations.

HIGH PERFORMANCE
Our highly optimized, custom Worksite Protocol Handler can index documents at a rate of up to 60 per second. For data only, that figure approaches 500 per second. In turn, this ensures that your system is up and running in hours or days not weeks. Our change log based model of Incremental Indexing permits more frequent updates to the index. It is possible to update an index of 10 million documents in under one hour using the eRESULT® for Worksite product. Our real-time Security Trimmer interface is optimized to provide sub-second results. Because our eRESULT® for Worksite product maps proprietary systems’ security to AD, search results are pre-filtered and in turn, relevancy (weighting) remains intact.

ENHANCED SECURITY for WORKSITE
We provide extensive, automated mapping tools to ensure that your disparate systems’ security is honored by SharePoint and Active Directory. We also support SharePoint’s new Security Trimmer interface model to ensure that recent changes to security are honored when searching. Our security models are automatically audited to ensure compliance and include an auto-alert system.

FLEXIBLE, CONTEXTUAL SEARCH RESULTS
The eRESULT® for Worksite product optimizes the display of search results and provides clients with flexible display options and preferences ranging from highlighting more clearly a document’s origin to automatically checking out a document from Worksite when clicking on a search result. We support using either the native SharePoint Search Center or the highly flexible Ontolica Search results (recommended).

METADATA/PROFILE INFORMATION MAPPING
Our Content Definition Interface provides many options for mapping your systems’ data into SharePoint searchable properties. We support all native data types: text, dates, numbers, etc. Our custom formatting options for your metadata are limitless as we support simple or VBScripting-based formatting. Our extended metadata types allow you to connect to other external systems for relevant data to be added as searchable properties. For example, while indexing a document from Worksite, the indexer can connect to your CRM system to retrieve additional data about the client and add it to the documents searchable properties.

EFFICIENT CONFIGURATION & ADMINISTRATION
For enhanced security, SHAREPOINTWorks administration system is accessible only from within the SharePoint Central Administration area. Our administration system is a custom SharePoint site that is installed on your Shared Service Provider. In turn, the interface is highly intuitive and familiar as it is native SharePoint. We support both advanced and wizard-based configuration models and utilize workflows and tasks to ensure initial and continued proper configurations.
